let us pray for a fresh Pentecost for the Church in Ireland.
Lord, we thank You for the Christian heritage of our nation, where from its shores, thousands left to bring the Gospel to the nations of the world. Renew afresh
Irelands
’ missionary call. Pour forth Your Spirit, and empower us again as You did the gathered church in the Upper Room, to proclaim Your gospel with boldness and passion. Let the Breath of Your Holy Spirit breathe new life into dry bones.
Let us pray for those who lead the Christian church in
Ireland
Lord, bless our leaders, those who carry responsibility to lead and guide the Church. Give them wisdom and courage, and protect them from the attacks of the enemy of our souls. Build bonds of unity between church leaders, for the sake of the Gospel.
Let us pray for new initiatives and new opportunities for the Gospel
Lord, We ask You to open up new doors for the Church, in business, education, the media and Government. Help us to be salt and light in an increasingly secularised society. Call forth Christian men and women to be an effective voice in today’s changing society.
We pray for those who have become estranged from the church, through hurt, misunderstanding, abuse or sin.
Lord, help us reach with hands of healing and restoration, to those who have been hurt by the Church. Help us as Christians, renew our commitment to forgiveness and reconciliation.
